For awhile now I thought it was but after checking out the prices for what I'm really looking for I just don't know if it is going to fit within our budget

For all of you using one can you recommend your vendor please?
TIA!
I'm using Penny Lane but I also hear great things about Couped Up, Rambling Rose, and Halo for decent prices.

Re: How many of you
I def do! I don't need an Academy Award winning video, I just need a document of the day so I can show my kids!!!
I went with someone VERY reasonable, less than $1K. He did my friend's wedding in Nov and the video was absolutely amazing! He was there the entire time, stayed after the photographer left! He recorded the entire ceremony, and the groom was miked up so you could hear him (which is a pet peeve of mine - how you can never hear them saying their vows)!
He also will give you the raw data for $50 just in case you want a fancier video made down the line.
FM me if you want info.

I do. I feel like the day is going to fly by and being in the moment will leave me a blur. It will be something we always have.

Re: How many of you
I did not think I wanted one at first, but then I saw my friend's video from her wedding and I totally changed my mind. They do it soo nice now! It is like a motion picture scrapbook. I am using Classic Videographer - they are pretty reasonably priced. FM me if you want their info and quote.

Re: How many of you
i think its important even if you go very very basic just to document the day without anything fancy or anything. i know this sounds depressing but i find even more so than pictures, when someone passes away, hearing their voice and seeing them in action is really comforting. and also just in general, its not to see everyone dancing, etc. years down the road.
if you are really tight on budget, i would say do at least the ceremony

Re: How many of you
i do since my grandparents are getting up there in age and wont be around unfortunatley for a lot longer so my way of always having them around is going to be watching them at my wedding and that applies to everyone really. its also a cool thing to give my children one day so they can show their grandkids.
