I really don't want to pay someone to write the names on the inside envelope...but no one I know has good hand writing and I'd HATE to ask anyone to take on the horribly tedious task!!!

Re: How many of you are having a caligraphy artist?
Fh & I bought clear labels (no name brand) and typed up the names for inner envelopes and same for address labels for mailing. Calipgraphy would be nice but too expensive for us.and my handrwriting is atrocious(spelling ?)

Re: How many of you are having a caligraphy artist?
we ended up having Encore print our addresses in the same script of our invitations. They came out great and we got an amazing price because they had a promotion going.
Just because it's hand written doesnt mean it will look good... I think nice hand calligraphy is beautiful and elegant but bad calligraphy is horrid. You might be better printing it on your computer?

I had a hand calligrapher, it was really important to me to set a certain tone with my invites .... and I did
I would highly recommend looking into computer calligraphy ... or even try to print the addresses yourself directly on the envelopes, rather than using labels.
In my opinion, labels do not belong on wedding invitations --- even the 'clear ones'.

I'm using Wendy Trout for hand calligraphy also. I just always loved the look of hand calligraphy and really wanted it for my invites. She is the least expensive I've found for that.

I felt the same way about labels. It's one thing to put them on the STDs, but not on the invites!
