have gone over the wedding budget? ... i'm over by a few thousand so far ... not including HM

Getting married at JT makes you poor I'm afraid to do a total but I know I went way over when I booked with JT. I went over the photographer, videographer, dj, etc.

i think i'd be surprised if i wasn't over my budget. honestly i didn't know how expensive this was gonna be. i was WAAAYYY off.

yeah we set a budget but never really said that is how much we can spend...

so as of now with things booked we have been really good. i think the only thing that is going over budget will be the photography. And the honeymoon we definitely went past a decent budget for that but we had some help from FH's grandma so we didnt feel as bad spending the money haha

everything else has been pretty decent but i mean it definitely all adds up.

We've already gone over our budget by $10,000. I cant imagine what the total is going to be when we're all done!

I was smart, we didn't set a budget so when FH complains how much we spent I can just say WELLLL you never gave me a budget

we never had a real budget. my parents originally wanted to give $10,000 each thinking that would cover the wedding (they wanted to pay for the whole thing) now they're seeing that's just not realistic. so yeah i'd say we're gonna go over our new budget of $30,000.

Yea we're over Our budget was $20,000. So far we're over $3,000 and we still have tons to buy!

we were originally shooting for 20k (not counting honeymoon) but that got blown out of the water when we saw how expensive a summer wedding is.

So we reset our budget and we have managed to stay there (lots of bargain shopping and DIY's)
