2000 to cover all other expenses is just NOT cutting it ahahaha

i think as a joke i should frame my first budget and put it up at the wedding

i used a budget planner for some website that was probably based on a wedding in like middle of nowhere Arkansas and I put in my budget of $30K and it gave me what percentage I should pay for each category. SO nice neat and orderly! :sigh: to be young and naive.

Then we booked the hall and I figured out the total of the hall bc we had only been saying the price 'per person' and I ran home to input it into my little budget spreadsheet AND. . .






eta: it had to split the remainder over all the remaining vendors so it was like
Hall $$$$$
Flowers: $40.53
Dress: $67.89

haha see n fh is like...oh we can do it...dont worry when i say this is soo much $$ is it worth it...

it was funny i wanted advice but never thought this site would help as much as it has...almost all my vendors are LIW vendors.

THIS WEDDING IS GETTING OUT OF HAND

my HM is like 15k ... so uh .. i keep telling my FH that it's SO not part of the budget

we never set one., we should have

YEP We were originally thinking in the 30K's. But with an estimated 300+ guests...that quickly went to the 40K's. We tried though!!!! we did the whole winter wedding during the day thing!

HA HA HA HA HA, Budget, thats Funny, now I am in the 'how much debt can i live with' phase
Seriously, i'm not that bad, i just had NO idea how much a wedding actually costs.

lol i did! i give up!

Wow im actually still within my budget,,,, I set it at 30k and i might make it.. My hall totaled like 15k.. so i have a decent amt for budget friendly vendors. However.. i know all those little expenses you dont plan for will probably put me over..

This is all not including the 5k for the HM
