And Golds I hate it.. JuICE BAG GYM!

NYSC in Huntington...Don't like it. As a result, I haven't been there in a couple of months. My FH and I will probably start going again when he returns from Chicago. And we used to go 5-6 nights a week.

I miss Gold's in Syosset.

I used to go to NYSC in Manhattan. Then when i was layed off from the company (we had a corporate membership) i lost my membership

I havent been to the gym in so long. FI and I are thinking of joining the gym he used to go to, BQE. Its open 24 hours.

Golds gym is definatly a juice bag gym. I could only image what it must look like inside. I've seen a few guys coming out of there and all i think is do they even work out or do they just stand there and try to look good.

i have walked up the stairs 2 today and 1 yesterday, 7floors each way, for now thats my gym!! LOL now if i could only stop smoking!! i could probably BREATHE!!

My company actually has a gym in the building which is great. I try and go 4-5 times a week and I run on the weekend. Even though it's been cold out lately I still try and bgo. I call my dad and he goes with me

Eric is trying to get me to join NYSC but I refuse to throw money away on another gym membership so I'm working out in my house...

I've had 2 3-year memberships to Ballys that I used maybe 6 months of each before deciding that I was thin enough...and 1 2-year membership to Lucille Roberts (which totally s**ked by the way) that I used for maybe 6 mos as well.

I was a member of Lucille Roberts and then I became a member of NYSC, I love it. I go all over the city. I love their water aerobics, African dance and I love Super Step and total body conditioning. My GF and I go at least 4 times a week. I love to exercise. I hope to one day be certified to at least do it in my spear time.

I go to Ballys, either in copiague or levittown 3-5 times depending on how TIRED I am

I used to go to Golds, Theresa, I actually liked it better there!!! but ballys was cheaper for me and I was saving for wedding stuff

I used to go to NYSC, but now I belong to the Women's Karate Center. It is not a gym, more of a Karate club. It is very good cardio exercise and I go three days a week with 2 hour sessions on Saturday.

I do my weight training and treadmill at home.

I am DYING to know why all the JUICE BaGS in my gym are always staring at their muscles in the mirrors..

Do they think they are going to do a jump and jack..

What about the goof ball over 50 Women who wear more face make up then a clown and a thong up their coolies..
When your coolie sags Don't wear a thong. It makes me want to puke when I am on the bike!

I could care less about the juice bags & old women (the older women at my old gym were in great shape.) It's the young girls with hardly any clothes on that think the gym is a meat market that crack me up! My FH and I used to just shake our head in disbelief.

when i would go to the gym in the city it was all wall street people in my gym. all they cared about was what the ticker was saying on CNN. we had tv's so they would sit on the bike, the stair master and the treadmill watching CNN.

the woman they just kept to themselves. everyone was usually in sweats and just doing what they came to do, work out.

Chippard, did you go to the NYSC at Wall Street?? The women can be cold looking but once they warm up to you, they are the best. The guys are focused tho, either on the weights or on the TV

Which Gold's do you go ... I belong to the one in Garden City Park ... I can see your point of juice bags, but it doesn't really bother me.
I use to go about 5 times a week. I'm lucky if I go 2-3 times now!
Actually, I like the Gold's gym ... it's where I met my DH!
