How many of you numbered your response cards???

Original post by Calimali

Do you think it is worth is to put a small number (in pencil) on the back of the response cards just in case some guests dont put their name on them!

i didn't number the card, i numbered the envelope

i put the number in pencil under the stamp. when you look in the inside from the back you can see it clearly. i didn't want people finding the number on the card and wondering what it was

We did it, it really doesn't take alot of time to do it. And I'm glad cause one of our guest just wrote his first name down and notheing esle so when we looked up the # onthe card we knew exactly who it was.

I'll be doing this just as a precaution. Never know what friends might do!

Hi Hall twin!
I think we are going to do it as you just never know what ppl will do. I think the X-tra time in the beginning will save you ALOT of aggravation in the end.

I stuffed my envelopes today...and I did number them according to the excel sheet we made. It did not take much time at all....actually I thought the process would be worse, FH helped me with like 60 of the invites and the other 140 (almost) were done by me alone and it took 2 1/2 hours. Not bad at all! I recommend numbering, since it coul save time and trouble later

OMG..that is so smart. I have been driving myself crazy about where I was going to put the number and who was going to know what it was and who was going to get mad at the number they had!

Ha! This is why I love this web site; so many smart women!

I bought an invisible ink marker and a black light and wrote the numbers on the back that way---noone ever knew it was there

Thankfully, noone forgot to write their names ...except for DH's grandmother and my mom who did it as a joke since they stuffed the invites with us
