How many of you numbered your response cards???

Original post by Calimali

Do you think it is worth is to put a small number (in pencil) on the back of the response cards just in case some guests dont put their name on them!

I was going to do this, but last minute I decided not too because I was running out of time.

Now I wish I had......I received a response card back last week with no name. and I am so frustrated

I numbered my RSVP cards but I have also received phone calls from family / friends who won't send the cards back and want to call instead. So much trouble to number the cards, buy special stamps and they want to call!

It's definitely worth doing. You'd be amazed that people don't write their names on the card and that some handwriting is illegible! It came in very handy for me.

I did it - I put it in pen in the back of each card - who cares if anyone sees?

I used an invisible black light marker but so far, n one has not written in their names. I still think it's a good idea, it would save a lot of stress if someone forgets.

I just sent mine out, and I put little pencil mark numbers on the back of the cards. I got the idea from this site, and I think it will come in handy. It is a great idea!!!!!
