on starting a family after the wedding or if your waiting how long do you think you'll wait?

we all ready have a 7 year old daughter he is not her biological dad BUT he is her DAD
and then a year or so after we will have a baby

We have a beautiful little girl together and two boys(his from previous marriage). My advice to u is wait, enjoy each other. Children are a blessing but they change everything(corny but true) Learn as much as u can about your new husband b4 you have a baby. But not too long

Since we had to postpone our wedding to 07 we are going to start trying later that year.

We are both 35 and until we can both afford to live comfortably without debt, we will not have a child. We feel it is irresponsible to to otherwise no matter HOW old you are. It won't be very long though. I have already heard from one too many people 'Oh you are 35, you'll want to get moving soon before your clock runs out.' To which I reply, 'Yeah my ovaries are dried up raisins, thanks for filling me in!' Dumbarses I tell you. People don't change - they are the same tactless morons who told me I needed to lose weight when I wore a size 24. Sorry for the rant - tender subject!

We are going to start trying when we get back from the honeymoon.

I am 30 and FH is 26, I do not have the luxury of waiting. We are both ready to have kids and are very excited to start practicing

I'm 28 and Jeff will be 41 next week.
He has no kids, I have Hannah that's 8.

We're really not sure when we'll start. Because of our health, it's best to start right away... but I really want to enjoy out time together and getting Hannah situated with her new life (I think a new baby would be too much at once)

If my doctor says I can wait, we may wait a year or two.

I feel your pain. We're both in our early 30's and it's my gynecologist who keeps reminding me about my 'biological clock'.

fh and i have the same rule. im hoping we can afford a house in like 5 years, but im only 24 so it wont be bad if it takes that long, any longer and im in trouble.
