Before you booked your RH? I've been to 3 and I've chosen my favorite one. I love it because its an old building overlooking the water. The place has lots of character, a big staircase, and 2 fireplaces, old architecture etc. Feels like a big family dinner sort of thing. (Not having many guests - approx 110) The only issue is this. Since it's in the winter, the ceremony will be in the same room as cocktail and dancing. Although I did notice that alot of places have that issue. It's not really bothering me that much I just wonder how fast they can tranistion the room right after the ceremony (They'll be changing during the recieving line). The price was incredible, and they will even throw in a free vieneese table if we book by Jan. 1
The second choice I like. I'm not in love with it, but its nice and there would be more room for things to go on. Ceremony, then they go to a cocktail room, then the reception area. The only thing is they are doing renovations this winter and I don't know what to expect. The plans sound lovely but who knows.
The third place I disliked, and the next place I want to go I found out is closing.

i think we went to 6 and WM was the last one we looked at...I had a few more to look at but when we saw WM we knew that was the place for us

We looked at 3. Since FH doesnt have alot of time to run around to alot of different halls I did alot of researching online and on this site and narrowed down the halls I wanted to see.

we looked at about 5 and we went with the 4th one we looked at. as soon as we walked in we loved it.

Ditto. Was set on JT until we went and saw WM, then that was it for us.

I looked at 3 and took FH to 2. Narrowed it down online first and then went looking.

just one place bc i heard so many good things about it and i loved it and it was the BEST PRICE
Both places we looked at had great prices. I have a hunch that we're going to go with West Sayville. All we have to do now is try the food!

We must have went to 10 places before we finally saw the Woodlands and booked it the next day. My advice is if you dont feel totally comfortable or happy keep looking bc your perfect RH is out there!!
