how many ppl in bridal party?

How many ppl do u think is the norm for a briday party....FH threw out like 9 guys that he wants to have in the party....which means its gunna be 9 guys 9 girls a flower girl ring bearer and my brother as a jr groomsman

thats 21 ppl in our bridal party and its not like we are getting married at a nice big church ....we are getting married at our RH so i kinda felt like its to much and there isnt gunna be enough room in the ceremony for everyone to stand...we got into an argument about it last night and he thinks that its not to many

we're having 6 girls and 6 guys and a junior bridesmaid and a ring bearer. i dont think theres any 'normal' sized bridal party, its what works best for you and FH

we are also getting married at the RH. yes its a lot but we wanted to have our family and close friends as part of the wedding.

plus vendors i have met with have told me yes its a lot but they have seen wedding parties with a lot more....like parties with 48 ppl total

MH and 2 bridesmaids..that's if I have a party and FH will have BM and 3 groomsman so the number will be uneven. Possibly a flower girl too.

i have 7 girls fh is having 5 - 7 guys (he still wont give me a count lol), 1 rb, 1 fg

we are having 3 bridesmaids, 1 MOH, 1 best man, 4 groomsmen, 2 flower girls, 1 ring boy & my SIL will be escorting the flower girls down the aisle. so in total that's 13 people.

We're having 6 BMs, 6 GMs, and 3 FG's...so there will be 15 people in the bridal party.

I don't think there is any normal number. Some people have more, some have less- it all depends on who you MUST have in your BP.

Ok well I have 11 guys including 2 bestmen, a ring bearer, and jr. groomsman, and I have 8 bridemaids including my MOH, jr bm and flower girl. Its uneven, but I don't care. So we have to double up on a couple of them. FH wanted all his friends and I couldn't say no...

i know its like why not just have everyone at your wedding be in the wedding party

our bp went from 6 bm's 1 fg and 4 gm's to 3 bm's 4 gm's and 1 fg...

I dont think there is a certain number you have to have...its all based on how much you can afford and what you feel comfortable with...

4-5 Bridesmaids (Still trying to decide if I should pick one or not lol)
3-4 Groomsmen

NO FG or RB


From the weddings I've attended and seen pictures of, there were typically 5-6 BMs and GMs, if that helps you out. I don't think there is a norm or a limit, do whatever you want!

Agreed. I contemplated having 8 or 9 bridesmaids but I didn't want to put too much cost into that aspect of the wedding.

i have 28 people in my bridal party. me and fh happen to have big families. i think its personal preference. if its something that reallly bothers you i would talk it over.

i look at it this way. if your concern is what other people are going to say. dont make it a concern EVERYONE has something to say you cant make everyone happy. i learned that the hard way.
