Re: How many registries is too many?
I look at some of these posts and I think 'Holy moly, she is registered at FOUR places???' but then I guess if you are having 250+, you need to register for alot of stuff.Im only having 100 guests, and I feel like 2 is too many, but Im doing it.

Re: How many registries is too many?
I was registered at 4-- originally I only registered at 3-- then waited to do bedding and towels, etc., as they tell you to do. When it came time to register for this stuff- I didn't find anything at the 3 stores I was registered for that I liked- so I had to add another registry.Honestly-- I really don't think it matters-- people can choose the place they like to shop, what's the most convenient for them, etc. But I think really anything more than 4 is a bit much-- each of the places that I registered at was completely different-- it;'s not like I was registered at 4 dept stores.

Re: How many registries is too many?
I'm at 3 stores... plus our honeymoon registry. But, there are such FEW things that we've registered for at each place because we already HAVE a lot of stuff. Plus, one of our registries is at Crate and Barrel, which only a few people really know about.I'm actually thinking of adding Bed, Bath and Beyond since I seem to go there ALL the time. I think the more registries you have, the more options you give your guests. I don't really understand the concept of 'too many' registries. I think it's more convenient for guests. Obviously, I wouldn't register at TEN places, but if it's at MOST under 5, I think it's okay. Just more convenient options for my guests!

Re: How many registries is too many?
I have 4 but we're inviting about 280 guests. My main registries are Bed Bath and Beyond and Pottery Barn. I started 2 others at Fortunoff and Macys's but never finished them. They both just have my china.

Re: How many registries is too many?
I only had 3, but added one more. The fourth one I never tell anyone about..there wasn't much on it, and it wasn't anything we really wanted. Just too lazy to cancel it. We just don't tell anyone.

Re: How many registries is too many?
I have 2 and I feel overwhelmed. If I could do it all over again, I would only pick Bed Bath and Beyond. They carry everything, including fine china. And on top of that the china set I picked out is around $85 a setting there. The same exact set at Macy's is 150. RIDICULOUS!!

Re: How many registries is too many?
I am doing 4--technically. 3 stores and honeymoonwishes.comI preferred many options for the guests, they live all over and might it might be more convenient for some to not travel far to find the 'one or two' places I choose.
I think its a personal choice.
