I'm considering ordering personalized matchboxes soon...but I'm not sure how many to order. We're expecting 250 guests at most, and it'll probably (or rather honefully!!) be less than that (~200 or so).
Should I order 250 and ask the RH to put one at each table setting,or should I order more and place them in a bowl at the bar?

things like matches people will take, unless you hand them out individually.
If you are going to put enough for every person at the table just get what you need, but if you are going to have them by the bar etc. get double!

i never use matches, dont smoke, etc we realized we didnt have matches or a lighter in our apt so we couldnt light these candles we got!
i would def take matches if they were out at a wedding, maybe even 2 or 3.
buy extra if they arent pricey!

i think you can get away with only 100 of them if it saves a sig. amount of money its worth it. not everyone will take one and if u run out no one will care that they didnt get them. if they are not expensive get 200 but def. not 250. my friend had so many left over.

I wouldn't put them at place settings. I think it would be weird to sit down for dinner and see matches next to my plate. But at the bar, or in a pretty bowl somewhere, it would make total sense.

I really like the idea of putting them at the Bar. It would be a really nice touch. I thinkthat 250-300 boxes would be more than enough.

i bought 100 and will put them by the bar... expecting around 150 ppl.
