How many slippers did you buy?

How many slippers did you buy?

What is everyones slipper to female guest ratio? I am inviting over 300 guests, I guess 1/2 of them are women. There is no way I am going to buy 150 slippers!
Any opinions on how many I should buy?

I bought 70 - I will have about 170 - 180 people.

We invited about 150 ppl, figure half our women so that's 75. But we're not providing slippers for every woman, it's just a lil something for those 'hard core' dancers! I think we bought about 35-40 slippers.

For your guest list I'd say go about 75.

we bought about 40 pairs!! Not everyone will use them!!!

Only if you want to. I don't think this is one of those things that has become 'expected' yet-you can do it if you want but you certainly do not have to. I'm doing it because I know there have been times when I'm at a wedding and my feet are killing me.

I had about 140 people and 80 pairs of slippers. I only had about 8 pairs left at the end of the night.

That's my plan too. I just bought a basket about the same size from WalMart for under 4 bucks.
