for the wedding? The same amount of thank yous as invites? i want to have my designer make up some thank yous as well, but dont know how many I will need.

Not certain but I think so. You may want to order a few extra in the case of mistakes or if for some strange reason an invited couple gives you individual gifts.

Agreed. OR if you're someone like me that writes novels in cards and scribbles things out and needs rough drafts, you might want to get extras also.

i would do a few extra ...u never know if someone who could not come sends u a gift anyway..u would want to send them one..and dont forget people send one to all the vendors too

Are you supposed to send thank you's to people that you invite that don't come and don't give you a gift either? I don't think so...? Assuming that is the case, there is a good chance (at least in my situation) that all the people you invite wont show or give a gift so if you get the same amount of thank you's as invites that could cover the extras for mistakes and stuff.
