Last night I was just talking to my mom about my parents' courtship and how they didn't talk every day and there wasn't e-mail (and mom was in Boston and dad in Brooklyn).
This made me wonder how many times a day everyone talks to FH/DH at work.

If he is home for some reason, he'll call me as often as I allow. Otherwise it's about 3-4 times a day.

Once or twice- that is enough for me.
I may be in the minority here, but I really do not need to talk to my FH alot. I am going to see him later anyway- so we can talk then.
IMO too much talking leads to arguments.

0, I am usually on the sending end and we talk very infrequently if ever. My hubby is never at his desk.

Probably 2 or 3 times a day....on the phone.

we don't talk during the day over the phone... I'll see him later! but we do email a few times a day, at least once.

Sometimes only once... to tell him what train i am taking since we commute together....he also never answers his phone so i end up email him...'CALL ME'

I used to commute with FH before we started to date. Then he got a job on LI. I miss commuting with him

I never call him at work ever. I don't know if he is talking to a client or what. He usually calls me before he goes to lunch, then in the afternoon. Sometimes he calls me on the train on the way home to see what I want for dinner, but thats about it. I see him enough, I don't need to talk to him 100 times a day. But sometimes he does get in these moods where he calls me about 5 times a day, I usually snap at him because he doesn't understand that some of us have to work!..lol

Ronnie leaves our house at 5:30 am and I don't hear from him till he walks in the door at 7:30PM!!!!!!!!!!
Unless he comes home early I don't have any contact........
It makes me miss him even more.....

I heard from FH once today. He was babbling about having to do a million things by 3PM and he would call me later and then he hung up.

2-3 times during the day. We live together so obviously the phone calls end when I come home from work unless he's working that night - then I'll speak to him before I go to bed.

Unless it is something that is very important and cannot wait until later or if we are going to be late...we do not call/email eachother during work.

I talk to him about every other hour. From day one, we have always talked this much .

Every chance we get. Sometimes that means 2 times a day, but usually more like 7 or 8 times!
