Last night I was just talking to my mom about my parents' courtship and how they didn't talk every day and there wasn't e-mail (and mom was in Boston and dad in Brooklyn).
This made me wonder how many times a day everyone talks to FH/DH at work.

We email each other during the day, and I talk to him maybe twice a day.

my fh leaves at 7:30 a.m and i dont see him or talk to him again until he gets home at 9:00 p.m

I talk to him after work once, then through Yahoo Messenger throughout the evening, and at bedtime for about an hour. (He lives in MA and I am here)

Constantly is an understatement! We talk on the phone a good 10x a day, email all day and when we can jump on Instant Messenger. FI and I have the reputation in the family as the talkers. We logged 50,000 minutes on our cell phones in 6 months! That's 833 hours or 34 days straight in 6 months!

He calls me about 2-3 times a day. He is a trader so I cant really call him until the market closes. He calls when he gets a free moment.

We speak on the phone about twice a day and emails varies on if we are discussing something at the time like weekend plans or buying something etc. Could be anywhere from 1 email a day to 20. : )

a lot he calls at least 2-3 times a day sometimes more I call once b/c I never know if he is busy or at a meeting w/ chiefs so I wait for him to call

Even though we live & work together (different dept & side of the building), we rarely speak to one another during the day. We rarely (rarelyrarelyrarely) drive in or home together and every once in a while, we'll eat lunch together.

It depends but we'll usually talk 3 - 4 times a day. What drives me crazy is he'll call me 30 times while on his way home!

We leave for work together in the mornign and DH drops me off at the train station. Then he'll usually call once during the day. I never call.

Oh, we have Instant Messenger- so, we'll talk on that during the day. Sometimes, it's not about anything - just to say hi- how's your day going? It's been really helpful when I need questions/opinions about the wedding and need an 'instant' response- no pun intended. He's my favorite person to talk too! I could talk to him alll day every day! He makes me laugh over the silliest things

Hardly ever. He is so busy that I don't actually talk to him until we get home. But when he does have downtime at work he always calls me.

usually only 1-2 times a day. Sometimes none. I don't really talk to anyone while I'm at work.

I dont usually talk to my husband during the day. He will call if he is planning to catch and earlier or later train home... just to let me know.

I'd say 2-3 times a day, sometimes more...depends on the day. We live together also.
