How many weddings do you have in 2007 and 2008 - how many are you going to be in? everyone warned me this would happen but i have SO MANY lol
in 2007 i have two weddings, one i will be in.
in 2008 i have ( in addition to mine) six weddings!

so far in 2007 i have 4, one of which I'm the MOH for and then in 2008 I have one more before mine (tilde ) and one after!
For a total of 5 before I even get to mine!

in 08 its just mine- i was going to go to my friend's wedding but they just set the date for the sunday b4 mine- so i dont think i can make it! is that wrong? or should i go?

Well lets see
2007: 7 total (so far) march 17th - here in ny april 14 - in nebraska and im in the bridal party april 27 - here in ny july 7 - in ny and im in the bridal party (here comes the doozy) oct 5 - here in ny oct 12 - in nebraska oct 19 - here in ny
so far in 2008: i have 3 one in feb one around may/june and MINE in oct!!!! but i know there will be more because most of FH's friends aren't married yet (most of mine are, so 2005 and 2006 were crazy too)
SO we'll see what happens!!!!!

wow that is a tough one, depends on how close the friend is honestly . . .
i think maybe you should go though bc think about it its only a few hours. . . you can do whatever you have to do in the morning and then go out and not think about your own wedding for a few hours and then maybe leave early if you have anything planned for the next day
i know it is easier said than done bc u dont want to be overwhelmed - but my cousin planned her 40th birthday party for the Saturday before my wedding and cried when I found out. . . but everyone pointed out to me that I will need a good excuse to not think of the wedding for a few hours! so i will try to make the best of it!

I agree with Tilde here.....If you were in the bridal party you could opt out of that for apparent reasons....however just to attend the wedding as a guest I would go....and if you know already now that you will be going you can make sure to have what you need done and don't count that day as a prep day, but rather a take my mind off my wedding for a day (and think of any last minute things you could look for going to one the week before yours)

My wedding 2008 and FBIL also in 2008
I am going to have to start standing on the corner for extra money
Here is the breakdown
March 2007 - wedding June 2007 - wedding ( I am in bridal party) July 2007 - wedding September 2007 - 3 weddings October 2007 - Bar Mitzvah November 2007 - wedding
and I think I am probably forgetting one or two

2007 so far I have 2, FH's cousin in June and my best friend in August (I'm the MOH).
2008 so far I have 2, mine in May then FH's friend in June.
I can't think of any other weddings I have as of right now.
