RH alone for me is about $15,000, and they say to double that to get your total cost. So that's $30,000, and that doesn't include tips, so I'm figuring between $32,000-$34,000. Or, roughly my entire year's salary after taxes.

At this point it's not looking good, but we'll see.

right now our buget is 25k, and i am doing really well with settling for the inexpensive things instead of my expensive taste!! lol

but i know somewhere down the road, i'll ruin it!

We haven't set a budget yet, we had no clue how much anything cost so we weren't able to make any budgets. The only thing we know the cost of so far is our RH and that already put us over the 40k mark

we gave ourselves a budget of 25000 and i hope we dont go over bc we are paying for ourselves and i wanna live in a nice place not the street

that's our budget though FH wants to come in at 20K.....I hope we can do it!!! the streets are not a nice place for newlyweds!!

Mine is costing more than i had thought. But thats because like some of you said, i didnt know how much anything cost so we never set a budget!

I wasn't surprised, i actually had estimated before anything around how much we would spend and i was right...Doesn't make it any easier hahaha but i estimated correctly

i made up a budget - went to the hall and on the hall alone went $5K over that budget LOL so now i have a 'revised' budget which is more than double the original

When I took into consideration what I got for the money I spend (i.e. ceremony decorations included) I saved a lot! I give and take a little bit.
