will you be spending on holiday gifts? i feel like i am scraping the bottom of the barrel this year. i just wish i could afford to give my friends and family more

We are trying to do everything for under $500. Our family understands we are saving for the wedding. Next year I am sure they will expect us to make up for it!!!

we told my family out right - no more than 35 on each of them & for his family - no more than 25(which is what they typically spend on us).

most of our payments are due right at the Christmas....so it's fun!

we are not dong christmas this year ... every year i spend about 2000 + and since we are paying for the ourselves we simply cant afford it ... our family understands and if they dont they can pay for out wedding and then ill buy them gifts

i think we are also putting a limit on ... like 25 per person which is cool b/c my brothers are geeks and like books. but I always feel bad when people spend more money on me than I do on them. I understand its not about the money, but still

i def spend over 1000 every year. I have my parents, FH my sister my brother, FIL's, grandparents, and cousin secret santa, coworkers

And i never just get my parents and siblings and FH just one thing.. i just cant.. its bad though because i always feel like im spend all year trying to pay it off

for the adults- all my brothers and sisters and sister n laws and brother n laws we do secret santa, so that eliminates 11 gifts. so then i have 5 nieces and nephews to get for. fh and i will probably not exchange gifts.

im just about at 2,000 but I have kids....and christmas is huge in my house......I save all year for it ......dont let that fool enyone I dont have $$$$ I sacrifice all year to make christmas amazing for the kids....

christmas is on a budget this year so we do not go OVER BOARD...i do not even want to say what i usually spend on christmas but this year its a no no but i will still be spending over 1000 when its all said and done because my family is huge and we buy for everyone but this year everything is budgeted and i will stick to that budget as much as possible
me and fh are setting about a 100 limit for each other very very small stuff....

We're doing $25 each on siblings on my side, his brothers we aren't exchanging with this year bc his other bro is getting married too! We're all broke

We're trying to cap it off under $400 for everyone. We'll make it up to them after the wedding

We're spending as little as possible...FH and I are getting gifts together for our family members for the first time this year, and decided not to get each other anything.....just don't have the $$ for it.
