How much are you paying for your wedding officiant??

I'm having such a hard time finding someone to marry us up here (Maine)....and I just about died when I got email back from a JP that charges $400 to perform a half-hour ceremony!!!! Is this normal?!?!

Please post the officiant for $150, I have been very surprised that officiants cost on average $500, and everyone tends to use the same ones on this board, if anyone else can recommend other officiants that are under $150, please FM me. THANKS.

We had a friend of ours ordained online by the Church of Human Spiritualism. He registered with the city and can now legally marry us. It cost us a total of $95 I believe.

We are paying $450 church fee and th officiant is included in that price.

We're paying $375 each for a Rev and a Rabbi.

Our officiant fee for marriage was $150.00 and his rehearsal fee was $25.00. Unfortunately, a year after our wedding he passed away.

We are getting married in my church and it is a $500 'donation' that covers pre-cana, the priest's time, organist, altar boys, etc.

We are paying a 500 site fee, 750 for the rabbi and 400 for the priest!@! can you believe that?? UGH.

we're not paying for the officiant...he is in the fire dept. with my FH, but they wanted 250 at the ceremony site

$0.00, my Mom is the Officiant ya-ya!! but otherwise from what I hear around $300
