stolen from the 08'ers...how much is everyones wedding costing? excluding the HM

Not quite sure exactly but definitely under 30. Probably about 20-22.

ETA: We're doing Saturday Night in September, min. 150 people. We also haven't booked anything besides the RH, Church, and DJ.

I'm spending a lot but we have 250 guests and we are doing a Saturday night, so that's why.

I just added all of the little details we're now looking for into our budget, and it's way higher than i thought it would be! And we're only having about 150 on a Sat. night, off season!

Im spending alot Im also having a large wedding at least 250 guests & its a Saturday evening.

As for my HM we are looking into Bora Bora, Fiji or possibly South Africa. I want to get that booked by the end of April or May.

I am spending less then $30,000. I only having about 125-140 people and a Saturday day wedding so I got a good deal. I have been lucky and my twin sister is getting married in 2009 as well and we have gone to vendors together and got good deals because we booked two people at once. Right now my budget is just under $30,000 but I have been doing really well and saving money. I made a great little budget thing on Excel if anyone wants it FM me!

For starters I am getting married on a Thursday night in the summer, it was cheaper then a friday night in March and we got ALOT thrown in and dropped alot in price. We are only having 120-150 guests and I even got all the vendors that I wanted but, just making sure I didnt go crazy......
I am also cutting around alot of corners in other areas.

Under $30,000 Everything with honeymoon will be no more than $15,000 and possibly less.

It is looking like it will come in around the $20,000 area. We only have 75-ish guests and it is a winter wedding, so we were able to get a great deal at the RH. That also includes my dress! We decided we would rather spend a little less on the wedding and do a fabulous long honeymoon!

I am hoping to spend around 18,000... lets see how that works... However, my budget also includes paying for some people to fly here so I dunno how i am going to do it. I am getting married on a sun night in april, with about 80 people. I also don't have a bridal party so i hope that cuts out some of the money.... I rather have a long HM than a huge wedding.

we're able to keep the budget low bc we have a comparatively small guest list and our RH is very reasonably priced. also, i hardly count the honeymoon as a wedding expense bc we travel every summer, so we'll just call that vacation our honeymoon.

I think I got lucky that I my RH which also happens to be the least expensive one I looked at, for a Saturday Night, no less! Also, FH was able to negotiate them down a bit.
