How much are you planning to spend in total on the honeymoon?

FH and I are going to Tahiti/Bora Bora. We decided to splurge and go for two weeks w/ chartering a boat and sailing around for a week, then staying in one of those over water bungalos for the 2nd week. We figured that we are only going to do it once - so why not? Unfortuntely it will be around $11k - but we factored it into our budget...

I am almost (but not quite) more excited for the honeymoon!!

Awesome! FH and I want to do South Pacific also. We haven't worked out the price yet. But, I warned him that our HM budget will have to increase.

Almost nothing....We are using our timeshare in Aruba and FH's mother offered to pay for our airfare...

Thankfully!!! Otherwise we'd be going to NJ or something

If I could afford it I wouldn't think twice about 10K, but more likely 3-5K will be what well be spending..

Disney's pretty expensive and the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is going to be over $500 per night, plus food, airfare, etc... It's gonna be over 10k.

I think when everything is said and done with excursions and airfare for 9 nights in Saint Lucia Sandals Grande in a private bungalow it will be almost 14,000

Def. not $10K I'll tell you that! Thats what Hawaii would've been!!! I want a house, and as bad as I want Hawaii, I think living arrangements are more important lol! I think we should spend the most $7K and thats pushing it! I have an awesome travel agent. I'll tell her what I want and what I have for a budget and she goes hunting. But for what we wanted and what she could do, $10K was the best and I believe it ( I did some research myself). You can't do Hawaii in a week people lol.

I hear ya about the house!! But luckily we have a CD with money for a dp on a house saved so we will be buying a house right after I graduate med school. We don't want to buy it during med school bc we don't plan on settling down in Florida where I'll be at school.

we didn't either I am thinking, Im gonna sell a kidney on the black market soon so I can afford to go on the HM.

Us too.. HM is going to cost waaaay more than we originally thought. We're hoping to keep it under 10k for both of us (Fiji is farr farrr away)

we're doing Hawaii so were planning on spending at least $10k, its ridiculously expensive but we figured its the only time we'd justify the cost to go there

FH and I want to go to Australia, so it's going to be EXPENSIVE! We're probably looking between $5-10K. Luckily FH is expecting a $6K bonus at the end of the year, so that will be going DIRECTLY to the honeymoon.

FH wants to do Australia too!!! I really would love to go here too so i gues our budget will probably be from 5-8 k

i don't have a budget yet! because we are just thinking of places first
