How much are you spending on favors?

I am trying to find something nice but not too expensive. Just curious what everyone is spending on favors.

Re: How much are you spending on favors?

I am doing a donation - no favors - will probably donate around $500 - I think that is how much reasonably priced favors would have cost.

Re: How much are you spending on favors?

We are doing 'Win for Life' lottery tickets at 2.00 each and I got notecards to put them in, so probably ended up at about 2.50 each, doing 1 for each guest 175-200 people. Also since fh is Italian, I am doing Jordan Almonds as well, which in total for approx 175-200 people, tulle and almonds about 60.00.

Re: How much are you spending on favors?

I saw on ebay the other day a great inexpensive favor that we can make on our own. It was a bulb with raffia in a 2x2 box with a great little saying on a card. Check it out under wedding favors. I might do that along with a donation to FH moms cause of death. We are not sure on which bulbs to choose from- prob flower of the month we choose. Hope this helps.

Re: How much are you spending on favors?

I'm getting mine on plantamemory.com - the flower seeds in the terra cotta pot w/ rafia - approx $2.65 each (I'm only doing one per couple) and Jordan almonds for everyone - my fi's last name is Jordan so I think it will be cute to have the almonds! They will cost approx 30 cents each with the tulle.

Re: How much are you spending on favors?

We are doing CD Favors, I can't really say how much they cost each because I am not done with them, the supplies were a little more expensive then I thought, but I am having fun making them.

We are giving out homemade breads (pumpkin, banana nut, etc.) wrapped in tulle with personalized ribbon. Our hall has its own bakery on premise and is known for its homemade goodies : ). It will be about $4.50 each.

Re: How much are you spending on favors?

My budget was $4 per person. We are getting married in December and giving out ornaments. We found some beautiful ornaments at Fortunoff for $2.25 each and with wrapping, ribbon etc - we will probaly spend $2.75 each. So I am saving a bit on budget in this area - I will spend more somewere else though!
