I'm taking a poll...sorry if this is a tacky question!
I'm trying to gauge what's reasonable cost for 100 invitations. I went to stationary store in my town and the ones I liked the best were in neighborhood of $800-$1,000 for 100 (complete set with envelopes, rsvp and reception cards). I looked online and the exact same invites cost the same (store isn't gouging).
As my mom says, I need a reality check!

We spent clost to $600 for 125 invites and response cards. Now we have to have them calligraphered, but I think we may do computerized b/c it is cheaper (1.25/invite).

I spent about $70 for my professionally done engagement party invites by ordering them from www.invitationsbydawn.com. They were sent to me about 4 days after the order and they were fabulous. I plan on using them for the wedding and I figure the cost will be around $700.

About $250 for 125 response cards and invites only- lined/color ink inner/outer envelopes.
We spent around $800.00 for 160 invites, response cards, reception cards and envelopes. I have received so many compliments on them so far. I am so happy I went with LA Productions.
