FMIL is buying our favors. I found a few I like, of course I know it's prob gonna get thrown in a draw when our guests get home, but hey lol. Anyway, I found things from close to $2 for these cute glass coasters to almost $5 for a cake serving knife. What are you girls all spending? I don't want them to be too cheap.

P.S. - We're probably spending around $2.00 for sandalwood fans since our ceremony and CH are outside in the middle of July
P.P.S. - But really don't you know that ALL favors are tacky?? Also its really tacky to NOT have big, poufy sleeves on your wedding dresses...take note girls!!!

We're doing a donation--not sure how much yet, though! It will depend on where we donate to--we've narrowed it down to the AmeriCorps book mobile (we're teachers) or the FDNY burn center (my dad is a captain). If we do books, we'll donate a little more bc we'd like to donate about a book per person (which AmeriCorps says is between $2 and $5 for them)

go to bergdoffs...its a very nice quiet intimate setting, and the chocolate they offer is amazing!

This is one area I am attempting to save in. We didnt want something though that ppl would throw away so we are getting mini bottles of wine They are from $1.99 to $2.50 per bottle and Im checking at our local liquor store their pricing so we could save on shipping.

Ohhh man. You girls are hilarious!
To the OP: We're going to do two donations (two causes close to each of our hearts) and if $$$ permits, do a small edible favor for people to take with them. I'm thinking that we'll probably do $150 per donation (so, $300). If we have extra cash, then small chocolates or something.
