FMIL is buying our favors. I found a few I like, of course I know it's prob gonna get thrown in a draw when our guests get home, but hey lol. Anyway, I found things from close to $2 for these cute glass coasters to almost $5 for a cake serving knife. What are you girls all spending? I don't want them to be too cheap.

not sure yet but mine are going to end up costing a lot of money. our guests will be taking home fancy place card holders , mini gift boxes with jordan almonds, & favor. i have not started to look yet but i did see oil & vinegar sets that i really love. those r expensive $4-$9 depending on the size & fanciness of the design.

I am planning to spend around $5 per guest...for a total of $1,000. I am hoping we dont have more than 200 people ; )

I am not completely sure yet but I know I am going to do a donation and a small favor with it. I want to do boxed cupcakes which I got quoted 3.25 for and then the suggested donation to the charity we wanted was 3-5, so we were going to stick with 3 and then the 3.25 for the cupcake for a total of 6.25 pp

I spent 4.60 per favor...we are giving 1 per couple...I just hope i dont need more then 135- bc thats all i ordered!

I am actually having my videographer (friend of the family) create a video/picture montage on DVD of pictures of my FH and me. I'm going to use that as the favor instead of showing the montage during the reception cause I think that is tacky. That way everyone has pictures of us growing up and as a couple. I think it's going to be $250 overall. To me it's a more personal gift.

My FMIL is hand painting wine glasses I had etched. Overall cost is about $3 a glass and we're doing one glass per person.

I am going to spend around $3 each... we're giving out truffles but I am buying them in bigger 1lb boxes and doing the packaging myself.

I think we are doing wine bottle stoppers. I actually gave FH an assignment to go to the Wrap with Us store in syosset to get a sample of the stopper we want. I want to see the quality (and of course test it out with my own bottle!)
Due to our culture, we will also be giving black rum cake.

I'm doing edible favors, 2 truffles in a box. I calculated everything and it would be less than $300; so would be a approximately $1.20 per guest. I'm having 250 guests. I'm also using my place card holders as a favor and having a candy buffet.
So things will add up.

Don't worry I think your guests will LOVE your favor. Crumbs cupcakes are the best.
