FMIL is buying our favors. I found a few I like, of course I know it's prob gonna get thrown in a draw when our guests get home, but hey lol. Anyway, I found things from close to $2 for these cute glass coasters to almost $5 for a cake serving knife. What are you girls all spending? I don't want them to be too cheap.

i actually want my guests to use my favor so i want to get them an olive oil dipping set which are 4.97 on a special sale. So thats what im spending.

Im not going crazy. Under $5.00 i know 9 time out of 10 I throw out whatever favor I get when I go to a wedding.

in total with the boxes and tags my favors cost me no more than $2 each (maybe even less) were doing xmas ornaments and I got them all at 75% off last year after xmas, my tags were $20 for 200, and the boxes were $60 for 200

i do suggest u ladies buy your favors from a favor store. favors might be 2$ online.. but how much is wrapping going to cost? personalized ribbon? jordan almonds and tulle?
at least with a favor store they do all that for u for a few dollars more.

Probably around $5 - $6 pp...we are getting Godiva chocolate as our favors...
Ours are a little expensive so we are doing 1 per couple.

mine aren't costing anything. we have in our photog contract that he will take pix of the guests at the wedding and will print it for them on the spot. I thought this idea was so cool and special, and def something the guest would appreciate. this was out photog's idea

Thats actually why we decided to not have any at all.
I think its great if ties into the theme. I went to a beach theme wedding and got flip flop candles for a favor.

i'm looking to do a donation in lieu of favors but plan on sending them home with bakery boxes of pastries. hopefully won't run over $5 pp for the pastries and $5 pp for the donation.

I've been to a wedding where they did this... I still have the pic standing in my house. I think this is a great idea.

I really want to do a donation, but I want to do a favor also. So I'm trying to spend the minimal amount on favors. Maybe a few candies for $1 each.

ye, that's one of the reasons we booked with our photog, he was so full of ideas and so original. I've never been to a wedding where they did something like this, and we're having a small wedding where mostly only family and close friends are our guests so I know all of them will appreciate this little thing. plus it doesnt cost us anything so thats a huge added bonus
