How much are you spending on your honeymoon?

FH and I want to don't want to spend alot but it seems that every travel agent we talk to gives us higher prices that we would like to spend and we're only going for a week. How much is everyone spending?

We are paying about 14k but we are going to Bora Bora and island hopping for 12days so the flights and stuff alone are alot. I told FH I wanted to splurge more on the HM than the wedding - heeheee

I'm probably the only one who thinks this but to me, a honeymoon is just another vacation. Since we dont necessarily 'wait' to go places we want to go, it's just another trip so we aren't spending crazy crazy money on it because I know there will be many more trips in the future.

that is the way we arfe kind of looking at it now- if we can;t do europe for job reasons we have the rest of our lives to go

wed dont know where we are going yet probably jamaica or aruba and probably for 5 nights and not looking to spend more than $3000

We did our homework and we're going on two cruises for a total of 2 weeks for $3000 with airfare. I'm my own travel agent...I bargain shopped til I found the best price.

so where are you going? can you fm me details...having a hm wasnt in our budget..i though you used your gift money...now i am afraid we wont be able to go anywhere

We budgeted 4,000 for all inclusive, I have a feeling that it will be more

HOLY CANOLI!! That is nuts! We are spending $2,500.00 on the actual travel and probably about a $1,500.00 more on spending money while we are there. Which will include our Sunday night in Fort Lauderdale prior to boarding the cruise!! YAY! FUN!
