FH and I want to don't want to spend alot but it seems that every travel agent we talk to gives us higher prices that we would like to spend and we're only going for a week. How much is everyone spending?

I don't know yet . . . but you should def look into an all inclusive . . . Is sandals crazy expensive? Where do you want to go? You can find all inclusive hotels in a lot of areas.

If you book an all-inclusive package right now it may seem like a lot of money (not 10k but a lot ) but don;t forget - at least with that you don't have to shell out money for food or drinks during the hm.,

If we didn't do an all inclusive we'd end up spending a lot on drinks. I think all inclusive is the way to go for us.

i think bw $6-7k for 7 nights at Sandals St. Lucia in an oceanfront penthouse concierge room. including flights and airport transfer, drinks, food, activities etc.
you could get a cheaper or more expensive room but we wanted the inroom bar and room service, a nice room without it being

I agree. Some travel agents try to push a suite but FH won't be spending all our time in the room.

not usre yet. we saved for HM b4 enagagment so right now have $5k but keep saving. it all depends on 1 or 2 week and which part of the wolrd but probably not over $5000

if we go to Vegas right away after the honeymoon, no more then 3k
then we plan on going to possibly the dominican republic again a few months after, and that didnt cost us more then $2,500

We are budgeting for $15,000 but haven't picked a place yet.
MY FH Aunt gave us 2 weeks of her banked Time sharing as part of our gift to use for our HM. So we are going one week to Puerto Rico and one week somewhere else. I am not sure what we are going to spend yet but we just need spending money for food and fun, and of course air. I guess we will need $ 4,000. Not sure yet. I think ALL- INCLUSIVE IS THE WAY TO GO.

My Parents gave us a week of their timeshare I think we are going somewhere in Mexico not sure I put in about 15-20 resorts all over Mexico to try to go to.
I am not sure how much we will need probably $5,000.

OY! hmm I dont even know yet... I think we are waiting until the summer to get on that plan...I honetsly do not even know what is realistic? BUT we def want two weeks somewhere.... we are all over the place though (shrug shoulders)

Nothing over 4,000...we are having 2 . Time share and all inclusive.
