How much are you spending on your honeymoon?

The trip FH and i LOVE comes to about $8000+ ... We don't have that kind of money ... but it's a once in a lifetime thing so maybe it's ok ...



What do you think - should we calm down a bit and choose something more affordable, or let the credit card companies be happy with our debt?

Probably around 7K- It's going to be a gift so we are really lucky. But, we had planned on spending that much anyway before we were offered the gift.

I am kinda embarrassed to say...because I think it is too much money. 15K....but it is a dream of ours to go to the South Pacific and we have been talking about it since we met...and no, I dont have that kind of money laying around..we borrowed it.

We using FMIL's timeshare, so hopefully we will keep the cost down to flight, food, spending $. Maybe 2k?

Probably 4500-5000 with everything. We have frequent flyer miels so we won't have to pay for flights.

We spent about 7K on our hm. We did 4 nights super luxe in Disney then 7 nights all inclusive in Costa Rica.

We spent about $5k at an All-Inclusive in Mexico (8 days). That included flights & excursions!

we are spending nearly 7k on just the trip but probably 1k -2k or so more with expenses for food and other things like tours and gifts.... its a once in a lifetime trip so we decided to save up in our wedding account for it... good luck!!

ehhh... about 10k but half+ is a gift so we got accommodations we wouldn't have been able to get otherwise and we're paying the difference ourselves.

We are taking a minimoon and an anniversary-moon on our 1 yr anniversary. Because we are in the process of buying a house and paying for a large chunk of the wedding - we decided to put off our dream honeymoon for a year. The mini-moon will only be about $500 (we won an all-inclusive Mexican vacation!!) and our anniversary moon will be about $13k.

ours is costing us around $3k tops (that 7 days, includes airfare, it's an all-inclusive resort and we are getting a beachfront suite). If we decide to go for a couple of more days than it might jump up another $500-$700.

our dream honeymoon is to go to italy but its just too expensive so we are in the process of picking something else. We're probably going to do an all inclusive in the carribean and i don't want to go over $4,000

Probably about $5k + spending money, though since it's a cruise we won't need that much spending money.
