How much did you save for a down payment?
Whats the average amount to save for a house nowadays? We are looking to spend $300,000-350,000.

We did an 80/15/5 mortgage - so we only needed to put down 5%!

We put down $17K at contract and a total of $40k at closing, the rest is being mortgaged.
