How much did you spend for your wedding gown?

usually thats included in the alteration fee...I've never heard differently...

so that all depends on where you get your dress!

My bustle fee and alteration fee are separate.

Thanks for the replies! Looks like i will have to increase my dress budget a little- didnt even think about alterations and extras.

I don't think you have to adjust too much... there are beautiful gowns out there for $5000, and beautiful ones for $500! I fell in LOOOOOVE with a halter dress at David's Bridal and it was only $350... my mom vetoed my decision, and considering she was willing to pay, we got something much pricier, which all in all will be about $2700 with alterations... but I still dream of that halter dress

$750 plus alterations and slip and shoes so $1,000 in total. i made sure i didn't try anything on out of my price range. also i wound up getting mine for $300 less because it was an off the rack model at a bridal store so you may want to ask about that. i hesitated at first to try them on (since they were off the rack) but i fell in love with it. i didn't have to settle and i stayed within my budget.
