all together around $300....100 invites w/ inner envelope (not lined), return addressed outer envelopes, RSVP cards-addressed, and 125 Thank You's with our mongram instead of Thank You on it (so we can use them aside from wedding related TY).

Re: How much did you spend on invitations

about $450 for 225 invitations. (EDITED TO SAY: NOT INCLUDING POSTAGE)

175 invitations with return address, lined envelopes, response and reception cards

Cost approx $350

50 invitations with lined envelopes only are going to be written in Italian (italian writing does not cost extra) to send overseas.

Cost approx $100

Invitations were purchased at Party City. 20% off all manufacturers list price for all items except invitations and envelopes which were 30% off.

We saw the same invitation in two Birchcraft books but with different prices about $10-$30 off per 100. Obviously, we ordered the cheaper one.

my stationary was $400. alone not including reply cards or anything else.
$200 to set up the calligraphy, $100 to print, $50. for monogram set up, and it goes on....

you really have to determine a budget and just work with it since it is all so relative to what you want.

$395 for 155 invites (for everything as well needed for the invite.....response cards, reception cards, inner lining, etc)
Postage not included in this price.
Calligraphy is being done by a close friend of the family and she won't take a dime for it.

I'm making mine - I'm paying about $180 for all of the supplies for 100. Handmade Rose petal paper with a vellum overlay. Inner and outer envelopes, RSVP cards and rose seals. Also place cards.

Re: How much did you spend on invitations

I think we paid around $500 for 150. Sore spot with us! FH was in charge because I couldn't be bothered to look at all of them. He really wanted letter press, it was important to him. Anyway, he's in UK, I'm in US--one would think that we could find a place in one of those to countries to buy invitations--what does he do? He buys them off of a website in CANADA!!! I must admit, they came out beautifully, and now that they've been sent everyone has been commenting on how lovely they are, but I think he spent too much. Oh, well, he says the pound is strong against the Canadian dollar right now and he thinks he got a deal--whatever!!!
