We are doing a BBQ also I think... it is much more 'us' and we wanted it to be sort of informal so we could relax and spend time with the people in our bridal party before the wedding.
I'm almost positive my FILs are paying like $22/person.
My FILs are in charge of it, but they are trying to stay at 2,000 and under..so whatever that works out to be per person. We have about 50 people invited.
we paid 30$ plus...no tax bc we paid cash. then of course tip was added to that
I dont know who is paying for it yet... if FH's family actually pays, then we'll keep it under $40pp. If my parents pay, same- $40. If me and FH are stuck with the tab.. we'll cater a hero and a few trays of food to our home and do it there. Hopefully wont spend more than like $500 if we have it at home

Not doing per person.... I think we will have a very informal GTG at my house or my parent's.
Can't afford it and a big dinner is not needed for us.
I am not really sure I understand why people do a big RD when you will have a big party a day or two after. IMO

i agree- we are not having a RD per say- we have something informal. I have decided what![]()
