I was just curious to know what everyone is paying for their dress...the one I want to order is Eve of Milady, but it's almost $5000!!!! This sounds insane to me. Is anyone else paying that much?

My sister had an Eve of Milady and it wasn't near $5000, but it was worth every cent. The fabric and the quality of the beading are unbelievable. I'm a big fabric whore, so I'm probably going t spend between $2500-5000 on my gown.

mine was a little over $800... and it's a gorgeous dress that i love. there was a lace monique lhullier (sp?) dress that i really liked that was over five grand, but i couldn't justify the expense. and after i found this dress, which i love so much more, i don't even feel like i compromised. but it just depends on what you're willing to spend - you can find beautiful dresses for very little and for a lot more than five grand.

I had an Eve of Milady, and with Alterations it was $5,000. I have no regrets though. I loved it.

mine was $500 - and the only alteration i need is a bustle, and the crinoline/slip and bra are sewn in so i dont have to buy them!!! i love my dress!!

I set myself a 5K cap and thankfully was able to stay just under that. I think if you love it and you aren't going to go broke buying it, you should do it. I'm a fabric snob and in my opinion, you get what you pay for.

My sister has a Melissa Sweet and it is around $5000.
