How much did your wedding shoes cost?

I originally said 'I'm only going to wear them once, I'm not buying anything expensive'
Well, now I just found shoes online that I love. The problem is that they're $220.

Do I buy them or no way in hell?

I guess I can afford them but I would not be able to wear them again. They are definitely 'bridal' looking. Also, I'm concerned that they won't be comfortable. I have bad, scary feet and I really need a comfortable shoe. I may just buy the love knot dyables which I hear are really comfortable.

I spent 50 bucks, and my MOH kept repeating, 'no one is going to see your shoes.' So, I personally wouldn't spend that much when you can go to Sandy's in Massapequa or some ofther LI store and actually TRY the shoes on. They have SUCH a huge selection, I'm sure you'll find something you'll like - and save A LOT of money. If I can find something there (all shoes hurt me), then anyone can! And they're so nice. I could never buy shoes off the internet because I need to know how they feel first. What if you get them and they're not comfy? I say spend that $$ somewhere else and save on shoes no one will see. (But, if this is something your heart is set on and you can afford it, then get it!)

$45 from craft shoes...they are by special ocassions. if shoes are something you want to splurge on then go for it. but for me, if i run into some extra $, i would spend it on something else, like a steal drummer at coctail hour (i am still trying to convince fi its worth the $400). ~lacey

mine are made by dyeables and called love knot. they cost 65

this is mine too! I have a difficult time finding comfortable shoes and they were SUPER comfy...a former bride was in the store when I was buying them and told me that she wore them all day all night , and she felt fine!

I might be the only one, but I didn't find the love knot shoe to be that comfortable. My foot kept sliding forward in them,even with the pads on. If they fit someones foot better, I could see how they would be comfortable.

these are mine but mine are silver. I got them at Sandy's shoes I think they were $53. I tried on the love knot ones and for me these were much more comfortable. They said a lot of people have been buying these recently b/c they're so comfy

I said the same thing....and then I ended up paying $225 for a pair of Kate Spade shoes that I absolutely LOVE (and, as a plus, they're more comfortable that the $50 shoes I bought originally). I don't regret buying them one bit!
