How much $ do people usually give when they're not attending?

How much $ do people usually give when they're not attending?

I'm just wondering what the average is. And do people usually always give a gift if they're not coming? I know weddings are not about getting money, but I know we all wonder how much money we'll get in the end.

if your lucky you will get something....i have about 30 people who rsvp'd no and only one person sent me and fh a check for 50 dollars...

We have been getting a lot of gifts from people who aren't coming. Like they mail us a gift along with the RSVP card that says they can't attend.

Yea, I've been having the same experience. I always send people gifts when I can't attend, and nice ones since I feel like weddings are a big deal

some people sent money, some people sent nothing....

My sister got 50 -150 from people who didn't come....depends on the person....

I'm not attending a wedding & I'm sending a gift off the registry w/ shipping it's $150

Most people do not send a gift when they aren't coming ... we received very few gifts from those who RSVP'd no.

I have a person the I RSVPed no to and I still have to send a gift but, I am inviting them to my wedding. I feel awkward only giving $100 if they are coming to my wedding. How much should I give from FI and I?

omg i never heard of people who gave money if they didnt come to the wwedding ....that would be nice tho ....

i dont think many people give a gift if they RSVP no

i know of one time my did and that was because she RSVPd yes and didnt go because she was in the hospital

i usually give half of what i would have given if i had gone - usually $150 instead of $300

It depends we have gotten $0 - $500, but most people haven't given anything.
