How much do you pay for a haircut

I used to always wait until I was out on LI to get my $25 haircut instead of getting it cut in the city. Now that we're in London, I'm finding it really difficult to find a decently priced salon. I've been paying £45 for a haircut - which is about $85 for a wash cut and blowdry.

I know people who drop a couple hundred dollars every time they go to the salon, but I cringe everytime I have to go and put off getting my haircut. My DH says I'm worth it and just suck it up, but I can't help but wish I could find a decent place that's much cheaper. I mean, it grows back so quickly!!! Am I just a cheapskate???

I usually pay about $35 for a haircut & Blow out. I have been using my girl for like 6 years and my aunt used to run the salon so I got a discount and they still honor it!

I go to a local place and pay under 35$ for a cut and blow out.

I've never gotten just a wash cut and blow dry so I dont know

Its always highlights or deep conditioning or touching up my roots. I NEVER get out without spending less then $130

But she does SUCH a good job!!! I go every 12 weeks like clockwork.. but when the wedding was coming up I cut back alot to save money!!!

Also I have to friends who are great hairdressers so if I just need a trim they are always happy to do it

( they offer to do everything else for me also but I am really picky and will only let 1 person color my hair... I've been going to her since I was 11!!!! )

Sometimes to save money my friends will wash their own hair before they go and a few times my friend has even asked them not to blow dry it for her!!! ( not b/c she is cheap but she feels like no one does a better job then she can )

28 - 35 depending where I go. My highlights cost about $100 4x - 5x a year.

When I lived in Queens, I paid about $50 plus, which seemed a lot for me, but my hair is so thin and hard to do anything with, so I needed a good cut.

Since moving, I found a nice salon in Danbury where I got a great cut for about $40. I know I could find something less pricey in my new town, but I see a lot of women walking around with scary mullets.
