How much do you pay to get pants shortened, and where do you go?

I usually just buy petite pants, but I bought the best, softest pairs of jeans ever and need them shortened. Any recommendations in the Stony Brook area? How much do they usually charge?

I have no reccomendation out there (ask Nic), but I pay about $8-10

ETA: yes, I get it done a the dry cleaner!

Any dry cleaner probably has tailoring service too. $8-$10 is the norm.
