How much does a wedding cost with POLL

My family is small, and there have not been any weddings in mine or Fh's family since the 80's People are not realizing the cost i guess and think I might be going overboard. So I just wanted to get peoples opinions

I am looking for a Saturday Nite, at a nice location that charges between $100-$110 a person before tax and grautity for 130 guests, i want nice flowers, a Dj, and an upgraded photographer like (verdi, angelica glass)
other than that i guess i just want the standard wedding stuff.

What would you estimate a wedding like that to cost????

Mine in the end total it will be about 25-30K HOPEFULLY!

We have a minimum of 150 guests and for the most part have cut out alot of extras...we are making our programs, STDs, Menus, etc. But still getting all the normal stuff made. You can definitely find what you are looking for in a price you can afford

I think it depends on how much you want and are willing to spend. Weddings can be inexpensive and then can get REAL expensive. It's hard to predict..especially if you have or want alot of nice extras. The price doesn't predict how nice your wedding will be..because you can have a simple inexpensive wedding and it will still be just as beautiful as a platinum wedding. In the end it's what you put into it, and what makes you happy.

We went over our budget..and I don't regret a second of that. Our wedding was everything we imagined..and that alone made it worth the money we spent., but I truly believe it would have been just as beautiful if we didn't have the extras that we had.

you can have a wedding on any budget. it may not be a saturday night, but you can have one in any price range

Well, I'm guessing it would be about $35,000-$40,000

We paid $57++ per person on a Sat night, guaranteed 125 people and went with low cost vendors. Ours, without the honeymoon was just under $20,000. Hope this helps!

I wanted to spend about 25k, but it looks like it will be close to 40k. We just want all the extras and now we are way over our budget.

If we decide to go to Italy-with our HM it will be about $40,000. If we HM somewhere else-not sure where-around $35,000.

Mine is looking like it's going to be around $40,000 - which is like $20,000 more than we initially planned on, but my parents got a hold of the guest list and told us they would pay the reception hall....so we couldn't really argue....

Thanks for the info girls, I did come up with a budget of 40k and my family thinks its going to be this very extravagant and outrageous wedding...they just dont understand why i cant spend 10k and invite 130 people!!!!

Um wow i guess it depends on what your willing to spend and how to cut the fat away in a wedding. So far when we add in vendors and stuff Not counting a honey moon its going to be $13,00 for about 80-90 people.

BUT with that I have to book everything prior to this year ending and its on a holiday/sunday, I am not getting parents photo albums because fh parents are dead and my parents told me its a waste and they never look at my bro's album, we are not getting limo's because i can just walk to my wedding so we are just using family cars to get around. FINALLY i am not purchasing a gown that would go over $600 if anything i may purchase a used dress to keep with in budget.

So being said we are keeping costs dow because in all honesty we have no money and we are paying for the wedding ourselves. BUT i can say the norm from what i have heard 25k.

Without our honeymoon, it will be $30K

With our honeymoon, it will be $35K

But that's not including our wedding bands and my ering

Us too. But as long as we don't put ourselves in debt we don't mind spending the $.

We managed to stay under 25K and that was including the HM for 75 people.

If we had more people, and an upgraded photographer, it would have ran us around 30K

I'm having my wedding on a Saturday day/afternoon. It should come to be 13K and I'm having all of the stuff an evening wedding would have. I just shopped around and did a lot of research. To me, inexpensive does not mean cheap. And I am doing a lot of DIY's.
