how much does precana cost?

for once, FH suggests i ask the LIW girls something...

we just got out letter in the mail on friday from FH's church telling us our precana is in january. at the bottom of the letter, it states that people shouldn't bring payment because that is included in the 'donation' to use the church for the church ceremony.

problem is, we're not getting married in his church. we're getting married at my church (i'm presbyterian) and we're just doing this so our marriage is at least recognized by his church.

i'm not against paying for the class, but i don't want to pay the full 'donation' fee if we're not using the church for the ceremony.

wow, it's amazing how much these prices vary!! our pre cana cost $50 for 5 sessions, 1x/wk for 5 wks. that is separate from the donation to the church for the actual ceremony. i'd call the church you are doing pre cana through to find out exactly how much it costs.
