I think it really depends on what you are doing.

If you are asking the bakery to make a sculpted 3D cake it will def be more expensive. Versus if you are just doing a simple sheet cake. Intricacy of design.

It's not really apples to apples.

I have been quoted $180-$200 for a 3D Sculpted Helmet Cake dependent on filling.

what bakery? i wanted a 3d sculpted storm trooper helmet for FH and was quoted 375-400
