I think that $300 is fine especially if you are paying to fly to the wedding.

We gave my sister $350.00 but DH's brother gave us $200. So, I guess whatever you can afford. That is what I am doing with dh's other brother.

4/5 of my siblings gave us $500. The 5th gave us $1000 and DH's gave us like $100 and $250 or something like that.
I personally would give $500 but as you can see, the gifts run the gamut so give whatever you're most comfortable giving.

I spent about 300 on her bridal shower plus gave her 350 for the wedding...on top of spending all kinds of money for the bach. party.

I was the MOH at my sister's wedding and gave her $1000 and paid her Bridal Shower plus her shower's gifts from me. My sister whom was my MOH as well gave us $1000 for our wedding. She was very generous with my Bridal Shower as well. She paid the whole thing and was very generous with her gifts. I think it all depends. It really depends on your situation but I think $500 and up is generous. Give them what you feel comfortable with.

I would suggest giving somewhere between $300 and $500 - I gave my brother $500. Give what feels right to you - there really isn't a 'wrong' amount!

I don't think it matters where the wedding is.
If it was in Chicago or NY you should give the same amount, he is your brother.
I would say give him $500 or more, I am generous FH and I plan on giving his sister $1000.00 and my bro and I always said that is what we would give each other when we were younger.
