We wanted a nice honeymoon but are goal was not to go crazy with cost and I feel like is has all added up quickly. So I wanted to know what everyone is spending. Our honeymoon is a 12 day cruise with airfare costing us $4600. That does include food but doesn’t include transfers, drinks, spending money, excursions, tips, and hotel if we decide to go before the day of cruise or stay a day after cruise. Our honeymoon falls during Easter time raising the cost of everything more than normal. How much are you all spending?

so far 2750. I know such a dead on number but that was the hotel fee. We haven't booked anything else yet. (hawaii)

we haven't started to book yet but FH is figuring $15,000 for 15 days in Hawaii.
our parents think this is beyond crazy but we have never, ever, in our 9 year relationship been on vacation except for going to my parents house upstate, NY. (which is no vacation) & we will most likely never, ever go on a vacation like this ever again.
so it may be a lot of money but we think its completely worth it.

We're doing 1 week in Disney World and then flying to Aruba and spending 1 week there. It'll cost us about $10,000 with all of our expenses factored in. I think that's pretty fare considering it's a 2-week honeymoon.

Im looking into hawaii, still trying to find the best deal, but so far it looks like between 5-6k for flights hotels and cars for 10 days.

The inlaws are paying for it so im not 100%
1.First class airfare to rome- Free, they had points otherwise we would have gone coach! (lets say if we had to pay about $2000)
2. 2 nights in Rome - $600-800
3. 9 day Med cruise - $4000 or so
This only incluses the actual honeymoon. Between excursion, spending money, gifts, treating ourselves etc I think we will spend $2000 cash.
So aprox:
$7000 without airfare
$9000 if we had to pay air.

Our budget is $10K. We are spending 5 nights at the Sandals Millionaire Suite (St. Lucia) then taking a 7 night cruise (Royal Carib Oasis of the Seas) We are at about $9K without airfare

I would like to do a Cruise around Italy for 7 days OR just go to a few places in Italy..... and then im going to stay at my house in Sicilia for about 14 days -- so im saving alot of money there.....
Im hoping to keep this all under 5k......

Probably around $12k - $13k....not including spending $. We are doing 15 days in French Polynesia...8 days of that we are chartering a sailboat with the remaining 7 on an overwater bungalow...so excited!

If you can do it, this is the time to treat yourselves - there will be plenty of opportunities in your future for real budget vacations! We're going to France and England, probably spending 4K just in airfare, hotels, and travel once we're there, plus food, spending money, admission fees, etc. If you're worried about money, try to keep your drinking to a minimum - that seems to be the easiest way for cruise cost to go up. Promise yourselves just one bottle of wine each night at dinner and just a cocktail or two each by the pool each day! Where are you cruising to? 12 days seems like such a great treat!

i have no idea..... we are still trying to find a venue for the reception!!! We discussed going to Italy for 2 weeks (hopefully 3 weeks if I get a new job) but after reading all your posts...i feel a little over whelmed!!! Geeeezzzz why does everything have to be so damn expensive ?????

5 days at the Four Seasons Maui then flying to Oahu for another 5 days at the Kahala Hotel is $6,200 including flights, car rental and breakfast in Oahu. We paid about $1000 to $1,500 for excursions and then we will need food (we are foodies so this will be a big expense). I would say somewhere near $10k all said and done.

Our's is just under $2500 for 8 nights in Paris and 1 night in Switzerland. This includes airfare and hotel.
