Our Precana is $270. We are doing a weekend retreat. Our church donation is $425.
Nylisa, what are the priest interviews? My priest never mentioned that when my FI and I met with him. I went through all the papwerwork I received and I don't see anything about that.![]()

We're starting this sunday and it costs $25 total and is 6 sessions long! FH is just thrilled about it being on a sunday with football!

We have pre-cana on the 20th. It is a one day thing and was $125.00. at OLMM w/ aliaspook

My priest told me that we have to meet with him to fill out the questioniare and he will have separate interviews with each of us about our thoughts on marriage, children, etc. I am getting married in Bklyn so maybe there are different things that need to be done then in LI.

Ours was $75 for 1 weekend at Infant Jesus in Pt. Jeff. It was a brutal weekend but once it was over, I was glad we did it all at once & got it over with. Aside from that, our suggested 'Donation' is $650!
The pamphlet that the priest gave us showed $450 & he promptly crossed out the prices and made it $650! Unbelievable

I paid $50 for pre cana. We went for 2 hours, once a week for 1 month. We had to have an 'interview' with the Deacon before we started. He is so busy he forgot about us so he did it after we were done with precana.

I am getting married in March and start tomorrow. It is $35 for 6 sessions. My donation when I get married is $500. I am not using the soloist either but still have to pay for her!![]()

ny lisa - you do have to sit with the priest and all but then they send you to precana too - we are getting married in the same diocese - brooklyn (although my church is in queens!)

i just got my precana letter. Its $60 for the precana group. that for 4 2 hour sessions on Sunday nights.... that does not include the actual church donation!!!

in our church we didnt have to pay for precana we just have to pay the fee of $450 to get married. i guess its included.![]()
