How much is ur church 'donation' or 'contribution'? Yea know what u have to pay to get married there... I just found out what our church is and imy jaw hit the ground!!!!
$1000!!!!! Included the organist, soloist, deacon, and on top of that we have to give the priest money too. Whaaaatttt theeee h e l l ????

1K is high! My church is charging us $ 500 for the Ceremony Fee, and $ 75 for Pre-Cana.

$500 for the church and $250 for the organist. I don't know what you mean by having to pay the priest - I don't think they're supposed to accept money for a sacrament.

Ughh I'm so annoyed with this!! The church is originally 600 but they dropped it down to 400 cuz my mom works very closely with the church... No she's not like a nun or anything.
And we have to tip the priest or give him money, w/e cuz there isn't a fee for him in the total so we obviously have to give him something too... This is ridiculous!!!!

Is it in Qns or LI? I noticed Qns churches are more $. Mine is $700 + a 'donation'. It was $195 for pre cana.
