I am just curious of the average budget couples are spending for their entire wedding-including everything. So far... I think mine is overboard on the price. Does anyone have any ideas on cutting costs?

Your best bet is to budget by vendor, I think. It is in smaller parts and easier to handle.
ETA - After doing some research, most people never stick to budgets becasue they never have any idea how much weddings actually cost. I would have never guessed in a million years that photo/video could cost that much

My budget is $16k and I *think* I'll stick to it. But I worked really hard to find my vendors. I think most people know about my budget vendor page on here.
It was just a question of we COULDN'T spend the money, but we had to have the wedding. I'm really confident in all my choices.
My invites, which I made myself, are kinda a splurge, but not really because they would have cost at least $500 - I did them for $180. And I keep buying my BMs things!
And the Rabbi costs *way* too much, but FILs are covering that.

oh my, our budget is closer to $45,000. what was i thinking when i said i wanted a big wedding???
