FH definitely won't be seeing my dress or veil before the big day, but what about hair, headpiece, make-up, etc?
We are going down to LI for my hair/make-up trial in a couple of weeks and we have a bunch of other stuff to do that day (after the trial), like see the florist, etc. I'm thinking I'll just keep my hair/make-up done and let FH see since it seems like a waste to take it all off just to keep it a secret from him. The main thing for me is keeping the dress and veil a secret.
Just curious to find out everyone else's take on this....

I'm trying to keep everything a secret--he saw one of my makeup trials, and I accidently slipped while on the phone with one of my friends about my tiara (I played it off as if I'm not sure if I'm doing flowers in my hair--or a tiara, yet--doubt he bought it, but I tried).
He has no idea about my dress, shoes, or hair. He knows I need a veil (Jewish ceremony)--but he won't know what it looks like until pictures. It's been tough b/c we have a house together--but I'm trying.

I want to keep everything about 'my look' from him. Dress, hair, make-up, shoes, etc. I want him to see me look like I will that day for the first time on that day!! Just get that chill when I think about it. I know it's silly, but part of me wants to stick to tradition when it comes to that.

I had my hair and makeup trial before we went to a wedding (I wasnt spending all that $$ to go home)
So he saw my hair and face. He hasnt seen the dress

he came to pick me up after my makeup trial so he knows what I will look like but nothing else

So far he only knows about how I want my hair. But that he is a little picky about or cares about is a better word. He agrees that he shouldn't see the dress that is hiding at my grandparents and I won't show him anything else.

FH has seen my makeup, and will probably see my hair only because we live together, and it would be a shame and a waste to not keep it up after the BP does it. But.. everything else is a secret.. I'm an old-fashioned kind of girl like that.

My fh has seen the shoes, the veil and the headpice... I probably shouldnt have shown him the pics, but I didnt think it would be a big deal. But he is definately not seeing the dress!! That is where I draw the line

Stephen has seen the veil, the tiara, and prob. the jewlery. he Knows the color of the dress but that's it.

I've actually shared everything with him so far - pictures of my hankie, veil and even my dress!! :lol; I feel that as long as he doesn't see me in it all before I walk towards him down the aisle, then I'll be ok cause seeing a pic is much different then seeing me in it
Me too! He's seen the hair, makeup and dress. But as long as he doesnt see it all together, I don't mind.

He had to see my make-up because he picked me up from the airport. This isn't be to be mean, but he probably won't remember the look the day of your wedding he'll be so mesmorized by the entire package you present, I wouldn't worry about it, just another day to be glamorous for him!

he ain't seeing nothing!! And we decided (or I decided) no nooky 1 month prior to wedding, so we have somthing to look forward too wedding night or honeymoon!!
