How much PP was your shower

if you know can you share? and also what type of menu was it and was their alcohol....im just curious b/c i hope it isnt expensive for the people throwing it for me - there is a chance it might be at someones house or something like that - im not really sure what they are up too - FH told me its not at anyones house but im not sure if i believe him i just dont know how much restaurants usually charge for a brunch type thing so im curious

I think mine was $27 pp plus whatever bottles of wine were finished. The $27 included appetizer, salad, main course and champagne punch

i wanted to add that i want to get a gift for the person throwing it - so i want to get an idea of how much they are spending so i can try to get them them something that is as much as i can afford KWIM?

mine was $35pp for brunch. appetizer, 3 entree choices, and dessert. Each person had to pay for their own alcoholic beverages if they wanted, & they gave the bp mimosas!

Here's the catering package. My mom and BP chose Catering Package A and it included champagne punch. The shower was at Waterzooi in Garden City.

Mine was $23 PP and they allowed us to bring our own wine in- it was a buffet with a chicken, fish, pasta and veal, salad- and my bms bought the cake from someplace else.

It's my favorite restaurant on Long Island!!!! FH was mad that he got there too late to eat any food!

I know mine is going to be at the Three Village Inn (my MOH let me pick the place ) . I believe it is $34.95 pp ++ for the champagne brunch. The only alcohol will be champagne punch. The menu is on the 3VI website.
I know some Italian restaurants that are only $20 pp ++ for a brunch (basic 3 course menu with no alcohol).

Even if it is at someones house they could be spending a lot. There is a lot that goes into planning a shower... I know my MOH is going to have to take some days off of work to get things done (favors, decorations... etc). '

So, I would get whoever is throwing it a nice gift. You don't have to spend a ton... just something thoughtful and a card.
