Did you tip M I A? What's the rule on tipping people who own their own business? You don't have to, right? I don't think I tipped M I A for my trial, and I need to know if I should tip her for the wedding day! I shoudl definitely tip the assistants she brings, right?
Ah, etiquette...
personally i still tip if its an owner or not. As an owner you have ALOT more out of pocket expenses. My mom has owned a couple of salons and as an owner she ALWAYS got tipped

I paid $65 for the trial with Sabrina of Sabrina & Carolyn- I am sad to say I didn't tip her though- she did a really amazing job at the trial and also the day of my wedding.

For the same reason- thats why I wanted to use a makeup counter person. I had a trial with someone else who I wasn't too happy with. And my makeup person I went with did 2 trials for me and both were free!!
And I tipped her the day of even though she is a freelancer.
